DEPICTION

DEveloPing an International CollaboraTIon to advance community-based, Open and FAIR eNvironmental modelling

The DEPICTION project is a new international partnership to develop a self-sustaining community of practice (CoP) for environmental modelling. We will unite software tools, standards and practices developed by partners, which advance community-based, open and FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable and reproducible) environmental modelling.

Our CoP will deliver these to a wider audience, providing much needed international cohesion across environmental modelling software. Through a source-to-sea microplastic transport case study, we will show the transformative potential of our united infrastructure and demonstrate the potential for application to different research areas.
