IberOS
Open research software for reproducible, computationally assisted analysis of ancient Iberian inscriptions, combining epigraphy, archaeology and Digital Humanities.
Description
IberOS is an independent open research software project for reproducible, computationally assisted analysis of ancient Iberian inscriptions. It combines archaeological documentation, published epigraphic readings, provenance controls, curated research records and computational methods. The workflow explicitly separates evidence, inference, hypothesis and estimated translation, preserves uncertainty and documentary dependence, and records negative results. IberOS does not claim to have deciphered the Iberian language. Its goal is to provide an auditable and reusable research environment for digital epigraphy, archaeology, Digital Humanities and zero-resource language research.
