RESCUE develops advanced mathematical and computational foundations, methods and technologies to protect utilities from state-sponsored cyber-attacks. It will also work to ensure the Control Room of the Future, which “integrates resources of renewable energy into the grid and transports it to end users”, is cyber-secured.

What are we trying to achieve and how?

The aim of the project is to help guard energy systems against online attacks from foreign entities. RESCUE will combine innovative technologies, incident response strategies and human actions. It will also consider future developments in digitalization and cyber threats.
