ReliCheck Findings Studio
MM Field Studio is a free iPad application developed by ReliCheck for mixed methods field data collection. When a participant gives a rating and then explains it, the app captures the number and the explanation together, at the moment of collection, so the two stay attached for analysis.
Description
ReliCheck Findings Studio is an iPad application developed by ReliCheck for the room where research findings are presented and questioned. A study lives most of its life at a desk, but it is judged somewhere else: a dissertation defense, a district meeting, a school board session, a funder's conference table. In that room a laptop is the wrong instrument, because it puts the presenter behind a lid while everyone waits. Findings Studio puts the evidence on the device that belongs in that room.
Findings produced in ReliCheck Quanta, the native macOS statistical analysis application, arrive in Findings Studio as cards. Each card carries its descriptive summary, its test result, and its evidence-strength label, with the honest framing that runs through every ReliCheck product attached and intact: a descriptive statistic that describes only the sample says so on its face, and a group comparison that deserves caution wears the caution label into the meeting rather than quietly losing it somewhere between the analysis and the slide.
The app is organized the way questions actually arrive in those rooms. When the deputy superintendent asks what the number means, Explain answers in plain language, without the presenter improvising a translation of their own output under pressure. When someone asks to see the distribution behind a summary, the chart is one tap away, and the underlying statistics one more. When a committee member raises a point worth keeping, the note attaches to the finding itself, and Mark for Report sends it toward the final document, so the annotations made while defending the work become part of the work rather than scribbles on a legal pad that never get transcribed.
Qualitative evidence rides along rather than living in a separate deck. ReliCheck Quala, the native macOS qualitative analysis application, exports presentation packets for Findings Studio, so the quotes and themes that carry a mixed methods argument travel beside the statistics they belong with.
Findings Studio is one of two iPad applications in the ReliCheck ecosystem, and they bracket a study between them. MM Field Studio covers the room where the data is born, capturing each rating with the explanation behind it, consent-first. Findings Studio covers the room where the conclusions land. Between them sit the Mac applications, Quanta, Quala, and MM Studio, where the analysis happens. The pipeline runs from the first consent tap to the last committee question without the meaning falling off at either end: context attached on the way in, evidence attached on the way out.
