Description
CarboKitten models the stratigraphic record of carbonate plateforms. It includes cellular automaton based models for biological self-organisation, computes sedimentation rates, submarine transport and erosion. The resulting stratigraphy gives age-depth models that can be coupled to biological components, targeting reconstruction of the fossil record of species evolution.
