Code underlying the publication: Validation of polymorphic Gompertzian model of cancer through in vitro and in vivo data
Description
This repository contains the code used to evaluate the polymorphic Gompertzian model of cancer against in vitro and in vivo data on non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The study assesses whether the model can reproduce observed tumor growth dynamics in heterogeneous cancer populations consisting of treatment-sensitive and treatment-resistant cells.
The repository contains Jupyter notebooks for fitting the model to experimental cell-growth data and longitudinal tumor volume data from previously published clinical studies. The analyses include parameter estimation, goodness-of-fit assessment, and comparison with alternative cancer dynamics models. The underlying datasets are available from their original published sources and are not redistributed here.
