Bringing the Chemistry Land-surface Atmosphere Soil Slab (CLASS) model to the web browser
As part of the European project EWED (Extreme Wildfire Events Data Hub for Improved Decision Making) we are porting the Chemistry Land-surface Atmosphere Soil Slab (CLASS) model to the web browser.
The CLASS model is a conceptual model of the atmospheric boundary layer. It is used in research and education, and as part of the EWED project it is envisioned to be used in an operational setting during forest fires. To this end, we are porting the model to the browser for quick and easy access. This includes porting the model code as well as (re)designing the graphical user interface.
